Scholarship Details:

1. Enrollment Criteria - This scholarship serves students enrolled full-time in a private, secondary school in Moab, Utah, where the school has a physical location and provides in-person learning. This scholarship does not serve students enrolled in an online or boarding school program.
2. Scholarship Match - Scholarships will first be awarded to students receiving a state scholarship. Students not receiving a state scholarship will be considered after all enrolled students with state scholarships are awarded their scholarship match.
3. Financial Need - Priority will be given to families based on financial need. The board will assess need by reviewing each family’s 2 year income average, reviewing a list of assets, and may require a narrative of the family’s financial situation. This assessment should provide the information necessary for the board to rank families by financial need as funding becomes more competitive.

Award amounts vary on how much money is available in the scholarship fund and need. This fund is meant to provide a match to the state scholarship awarded to students. Therefore the typical scholarship amount would not exceed $6,000 (roughly the difference of tuition amount awarded by the state).
